The Threat Against the Mosque: A Consequence of Hate Fuelled by Politicians, Media, and Zionist Lobbies
The threat against the mosque is vile and shocking, yet entirely predictable—and could have been avoided if Islamophobia hadn’t been ignored, downplayed, and allowed to fester unchecked. For 17 months, Arabs, Muslims and Palestinian Allies have been relentlessly hunted—demonised, dehumanised, and made into targets. The media, the government, and so-called leaders have spent every single day fuelling this hatred, spewing propaganda, and justifying this violence.
Now, when that hatred manifests in real threats, they dare to act surprised? They dare to pretend their hands are clean? They do not get to feign concern. They built this. They encouraged this. And they will do it again.
Receiving threats is enraging at any time, but for a mosque to be targeted during the holy month of Ramadan—a time when our communities should be coming together in prayer and peace—is beyond despicable. This was meant to be a time of reflection and connection, yet we are once again met with fear and violence.
But let’s be clear: this was never about just one incident. This is the direct consequence of 17 months of incitement—driven by politicians from both Labor and Liberal, law enforcement, Zionist organisations such as AJA, and media outlets—all of whom have treated Arabs, Muslims and Palestinian Allies as enemies, as disposable, and as less than human. They have unleashed a wave of unchecked racism and Islamophobia, emboldening white supremacists, making attacks like this inevitable. And we know this won’t be the last.
We are furious. We are exhausted. And we refuse to be silent.
We stand in unwavering solidarity with all Muslims and Arabs who have been forced to carry the weight of this hatred. We see you, we grieve with you, and we rage with you. This country has made it abundantly clear that it does not care about our lives—that it will tolerate threats against our places of worship, our homes, and our people.
But we are not afraid.
We are not backing down.
And we will never forget who made this violence possible.
We now demand concrete action, including new laws to combat Islamophobia and millions in security grants to strengthen protection at Muslim community sites, including places of worship and schools—just as the Jewish community has rightfully received. Anything less is a failure to address the rising threats we continue to face.
As we approach the upcoming Federal Elections, it’s time for us to take a stand. We can’t afford to let the same parties—Labor and Liberal—continue to hold power. For too long, they’ve put their own interests ahead of ours, failing to address the real needs of our communities and perpetuating a system that doesn’t serve the people.
We need to vote both Labor and Liberal out of office and send a clear message: the people’s voice matters. By creating a hung Parliament, we can shift the balance of power back to the people, ensuring no single party can control the future. This is our chance to demand accountability, transparency, and real change.
Together, we can take back our democracy and build a future where our voices, concerns, and needs come first. The time for complacency is over. Let’s vote for change and put power back in the hands of the people.
In solidarity,
